The Many Faces of Leadership

Because no single leadership model suits all work situations, this program offers a variety of strong leadership models, both military and civilian. This program focuses on adapting in the face of sweeping change and forging new opportunities.

Using case studies of Civil War leaders (Frederick Douglass, Clara Barton, Matthew Fontaine Maury, Walt Whitman, Harriet Tubman, and others), this flexible program can be tailored to your needs.

No matter your challenge, there is a leader (civilian or military) to model solutions. Choose from over a dozen case studies that offer lessons for your training needs.

This program may be expanded in length and combined with DiSC®.

The best location for your program will depend on the leaders selected.  For example, homes of Clara Barton, Frederick Douglass, Matthew F. Murray, and Robert E. Lee are all in the Washington, DC area and can be combined with a tour of Civil War Washington sites.
Using historical leaders as case studies is novel and makes the material more interesting."
