LESSONS FROM LEWIS & CLARK
Building Your Team for an Unknown Future

One of our most popular workshops, the Lewis & Clark program provides today’s leaders with a remarkable story of people who mapped out the future of a young and growing country. It is designed to show leaders how to build trust and relationships, and how to use creativity to solve problems.

This 2-3 day workshop can be conducted at various sites along the Lewis & Clark Trail, or from locations where the members prepared and trained for the expedition.
RECOMMENDED WORKSHOP LOCATIONS
  • Harpers Ferry, West Virginia—where Lewis purchased supplies and weapons for the expedition. This location can incorporate whitewater rafting for team building exercises.
  • St. Louis or St. Charles, Missouri—where the final training was conducted. These locations offer multiple Lewis & Clark sites, museums, rebuilt forts, and reenactors to add authenticity to the experience.
Book Workshop
We can draw strength and inspiration by studying the trails blazed by the leaders from our common past and begin to realize that the troubles of today are often times no different from the challenges they faced over 200 years ago.
— Brad Winn, Hartford, IL
